5 Things You’ll Wish You Knew Before Buying Your First Home
We asked a recent first-time homebuyer what she wishes she knew before she bought her home. Here are the 5 pieces of advice she thought were worth sharing.
The buyer journey can be complex with many twists and turns. Having an advocate by your side can be undervalued early on in the process, especially with the hot topic swirling around in Silicon Valley questioning the value-add of the real estate agent that has spurred on new tech start-up companies and real estate brokerages formed to satisfy those that don't see the need or value.
We love telling these stories to hopefully educate consumers that there is more to the value of a real estate agent than just finding a home on the Multiple Listing Service or opening a door to a home for a personal showing. From having insights about the community to keeping a home inspection issues from blowing up the deal of their dream home, or dealing with multiple offers on the property they want, etc. etc. etc.
Having over 15 years of combined experience, transactions are always different, with the players in the deal varying...from inspectors to co-agents, to couples or individuals with unique circumstances that we need to assess. THIS is what makes this job so much fun--like a complex puzzle, interesting and critical!
So I'd like to introduce you now to our - Real Buyers of Indiana! We hope it will enlighten, educate and entertain you.
If our value-add speaks to you, we would be honored to work with you as our next Real Buyers of Indiana!
